dis morning i read dis article on a particular newspaper.
The parent's mind is one without rationality but filled with sensibility. ((:
checked the dictionary and for those of you who doesn't know wad rationality means, its means..
RATIONAL:
if you're rational, you would make decisions calmly and sensibly.
thus, in the above statement, it says dat parents are NOT. i repeat... are NOT rational. they make decisions based on their emotions and not justified reasons.
well.. i believe many of your have read the news on huang na's murder. until ah hao died recently, he still is not able to speak the truth. he denied killing her despite the police finding lots of evidences. hmm... and worst still.. his parents, his family, are even siding him. i believe they have their reasons. but however, if they are sensible, they would make the right decision by telling the police the truth as well. he is said to be a filial son, a loving husband. but dis canot, definitely canot make up for the loss of a small girl's life.
and its quite contradicting to say dat a parent's mind is sensible but without rational. if your are irrational, you are not sensible. right?
anyway. just wanted to share dis short article with all of you. each and everyone of us should make decisions sensibly and not based on our emotions. doesn't mean we feel sad, we take drugs. definitely not. dat decision we make could be a lifetime kind of thing. taking drugs for example. wad benefits do you get? making dat horrible desicion at dat point of time just to drown your sorrows is definitely not worth it.
so, do make decisions wisely, not based on irrational thoughts but be calm, and with justified reasons. ((:
