im here to blog about ytd's service.
ytd altar call, went in front.
WAS BROKEN! yes yes.
really wan God to break me again and again. so that i may even know how to be humble before the Lord.
For those of you who knew about what happened to my ezlink card and my adapter, i'l just cut the long story short. (:
Both incidents happened in the same week and i was thinking: God! why must this happen to me? why of all people me?? why so SUAY one?
all the WHYS start coming into my mind. but ytd sermon was just powerful. i finally understood why giving thanks despite all the bad things that happened is important. Why God make all this happen. He wants us to turn to him BROKEN. He wants to break us so that we will learn. So that we will not ACT SMART. thinking that even without God, i can do everything.
I used to be very self conscious. especially when i share Christ with people. But brokenness takes away all self consciousness i have of myself. Brokenness drives me to prayer, and God. When i am desperate to share the gospel, i will pray and ask God for strength. That's when im really broken.
feel so much at ease right now. God, continue to break me. Continue to teach me how to walk right. how to take away any self consciousness in me. Thank You Lord. =D
A few days before service, i finally cannot take it because of my ezlink card, i got no money to eat and stuff and i really couldn't spend so much time running up and down to get my card done. I PRAYED! and wad more could i ask for. God answered. and my ezlink card can be used liao. SUPER HAPPY. at the same week, one day before service, i went down to sim lim to change my adapter but the lady couldn't find a suitable one. i was desperate liao. i asked God: God, pls. pls let me find a adapter that's suitable if not i have to go down again which i dont wan2. and just at that moment, the lady told me that downstairs got a shop that liase with them. so i went down and THANK GOD again, i found an adapter suitable for my laptop!
so u see! only when we are broken, do we see God's power!!!! (:
i was so broken. so desperate to fix my card and adapter and when i was at wits end, i prayed and God knew how broken i was and TADA! He answered my prayers! He even got rid of all the self consciousness that i had!
